The Greatest Thing - an Art Journal Page by Karen Gaunt

Hi Everyone it's Karen Gaunt here with my first ever StencilGirl Team Tuesday Post and I could not be more excited to be here to share my art journal page with you this week!

I've made a video to go with my page so you'll be able to see how I put the art journal page together but I wanted to talk about my inspiration behind the page first.

Music and lyrics have always been a big love of mine and I am always using them in my pages. I love to listen out for songs when I'm walking through shops or in the car. It doesn't even need to be a song that I really love, sometimes just one line will stick in my head and that's what sparks an idea for me.

I really went to town with my stencils on this page. I used Carolyn Dube's Squares Layer Me Stencil

and her Wall of Words Stencil for the background. My hand was sure sore after covering the whole page!

I also used Rae Missigman's Puddles Stencil to give some texture to my "couple" after cutting them out from some Gelli Printed Grid Paper.

So, without further ado here is my video. I really hope you enjoy it!
