Belen Sotelo: "Be Intentional" Photo Frame

Hi Stencil Lovers: It's Belen and I'm excited to be here with you for Team Tuesday. Today we're stenciling frames! In addition to being great for photos, they're also wonderful for words of inspiration or motivational quotes.

For 2018, my goal is to make some major progress in the area of being more Intentional. Surrounding myself with fun little reminders is a great way to help myself achieve that goal.

I started with a paper mache frame that I picked up at my local craft store and gave it a good coat of gesso.

I randomly brushed on a few different light colors of acrylic.

Using Roxanne Coble's Wolf stencil I sponged on some gold drops and deep plum leaves.

Still using the Wolf stencil, I added a triangular pattern.

I added gold to my triangular pattern with a Pitt Pen and sponged on a bit more texture with the Travel Note stencil.

Using a few different markers, I outlined my stenciled designs.

To finish it off, I printed out my reminder using my computer and trimmed it to size.

Thanks for following along. I wish you a wonderful week full of Art and full of Whimsy.

xo, Belen
