Hello!!! I’m Tina Hois from @tinahoisart my happy place for creative abandonment. I have always been drawn to all things arty. It all started with scrapbooking and creating memory albums for my two beautiful daughters, which evolved into card making and paper crafts. As a stay at home mom (at the time) and a constant learner I was intrigued by jewelry and taught myself all I needed to know about creating beautiful timeless jewelry pieces. With this knowledge I launched a small company and took part in maker markets and private home events. Currently my love for mixed media outweighs all others and I am usually surrounded by creative messes, painted fingers and a head of overflowing ideas.  Art journaling is my personal expressive outlet that allows me to play intuitively without rules and fill my soul with happiness. My pages are layered with painted goodness, collage, colour, textures and stencil designs. I tend to vary my style and embrace experimenting with new techniques and mediums. In addition to art I love thrifting and giving new life to unwanted treasures ~ I dream of owning an up-cycled creative space where people can connect, unwind, learn and shop.(and it will be the seaside ~ not a big ask). For now I will dream of the seaside and can be found on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

Hi, I am Consie Sindet, a Mixed Media Artist & Teacher. I've  been teaching creativity in many forms for 20+ years & before online classes were even a thing, I taught in-person art classes to hundreds of people. I find that art journaling is the most freeing way to express myself & want everyone to know that we can find freedom, playfulness, & joy by slapping down some paint, gluing magazine pages to a piece of paper, adding doodling & marks, finding a quote that screams...'THIS IS HOW I FEEL TODAY!"...& calling it good enough. I believe that I'm not here to teach you how to paint. I'm here to teach you how to pick up your paintbrush & get your creative practice rooted in your life so that the freedom of expressing yourself can show up. I run a membership called The Creative Playground that encourages her delightful community to embrace play, curiosity, and imperfection in their art practice. Michelle lives in North Carolina with her husband and two rescue dogs. She has always loved being outdoors and spending time in nature. At the heart of Michelle’s pieces, you will discover found materials and breathtaking nature.  Her artistic passions lie in finding ways to blend the two into new creations of beauty. Using paint, collage, and lots of glue, Michelle unearths the unexpected magnificence that is all around us in our natural landscapes.

Hello! My name is Martha Christopher and I’m a mixed media artist and journal maker who discovered mixed media in 2015 after a lifetime of thinking I had no artistic ability whatsoever. I went to a gel printing class at a friend’s art studio having no idea what gel printing was. I had to buy paint to bring with me and once I got there I bought the gel plate and the brayer. After that, there was no turning back! I love creating mixed media and collage spreads in my art journals. I’m also completely hooked on making all types of journals, especially junk journals. I spend most days happily creating, making a painty mess and puttering around in my art room.
