StencilClub Meets DLP and WINNERS!!!!

DLP week winners are at the end of this post.

Hi Stencil Lovers!
Janet here from Happy Reminders.
I want to show you the steps I took
to create this page in my DLP.

The StencilClub stencils for July are fabulous!
They were designed by Mary Beth Shaw and they are titled
'Let's Get Cellular'.
I started my pages by sponging the middle sized stencil
with the Azure colored StazOn Ink pad....
Then gessoing over it to tone it down and give me a good work surface.

I rubbed some pan pastels over part, then some Distress Inks.
I am still not sure what direction I am going, but want a summery feel to it.

Since this is smack dab in the middle of summer...
And the USA's Independence Day week too....
It needed the title of Summer Time Love.

I added the chipboard tree I made at Brave Girls Camp in June 2012
and some Mail Art from RubberMoon Art Stamps.
I used the StencilClub's smallest stencil in some areas
and acrylic paint circles for the dates.

Words cut from a magazine were mod podged on
and the chevron stamp and the largest Club stencil added.
I was thinking grass on a hillside....
Hmmmm... Back to the smallest club stencil.

I like that better.

More playing...more details....

The sky needed to calm down a little.
Some gentle breezes hinted at....

(DLP Week 27 Challenge - Add a crossword puzzle, suduko or word search)
I totally missed the challenge...but I can fix that!
c a m p w e e k became scrabble tiles.
Scrabble is like a word search, right?

And finally, God Bless America.
StencilClub stencils go out this week!
Are you a member yet?

Happy Arting friends!

Thanks Janet!!!!
