Made By Janet

Hey there Stencil Lovers!
Happy September!
Janet here to show you what I've been up to the last few weeks.

I play in my Daily as often as I can.
Sometimes at night in front of a ball game on television...
or with my morning coffee or during a mid morning break...
Sometimes I am obsessed!

I used Tim Holtz Distress Paint and Crayons for a lot of this.

I love that color combination.

I use the numbers from the Make It Count stencil quite often.
And I try to do something different with them each time.

Someone gave me an old bottle of Crackle Glaze
and I have been experimenting with that on everything!

I have already prepped my 2018 planner.
Is that obsessive?
I am pretty sure this won't be the finished end to it...
but it is a fabulous second layer!

And the Favorite thing I did this past month
for my new grandbaby arriving in December.
Something to hang on his wall.
Baby Bear.

and modified the tree trunks to more fluid lines.
I wanted more texture in that forest so I ran a swipe of Golden Glass Bead Gel
through the original stencil, but not everywhere.
I just wanted a hint of it, so wiped some away till I was happy with the coverage.

I used the 6" stencil in the kit to make the leaves hang down.

And then came the Hash Marks for even more texture.

Can't wait to hug that little Baby Bear!

See you next month!
