It is almost time
for your October StencilClub stencils to be shipped out!
The Private Collection 14.3 designed by Mary Beth Shaw.
I tried some different media with them...
Peerless Watercolors here on the middle sized stencil.....
I used the large stencil around the borders...
Azure StazOn Ink and a sponge dauber here...
This green border is done with ColorBox Blends
by Eileen Hull and Clearsnap.
It's very subtle coloring and I've never used it before.
Another stencil used here is the Rose Window by Lizzie Mayne,
On a back page of my Daily I used Mod Podge
through the larger stencil to give a different surface tooth.
On the black side I rubbed black ink in with a
Ranger Tim Holtz Adirondack Alcohol Ink Applicator.
For the colored side I used markers to blend.....
This purple experiment was washi tape,
watercolors, inks and markers....
just blending and playing with shading....
Another back page experiment...
again with StazOn Inks and Distress Inks...
overlapping and playing....
I love the texture on this middle size stencil.
Kind of snake like.....
I used the texture over top of a number stencil for this result.
