Ideas with Alcohol Ink and Stencil with Guest Designer Cathy Taylor Day Two

StencilGirl Guest Designer Cathy Taylor is back for
Day Two!!!

Are you ready for even MORE ideas using Alcohol Ink and stencils??
Here we go!!!

Idea 3.....

Coat Yupo with rubbing alcohol.

Immediately place stencil onto Yupo. I amusing Silhouette of Wildflowers Bouquet.

Squirt ink onto Yupo and allow inks to blend.

Enjoy the design as is or using a cotton swab dampened with alcohol, soften areas

Using markers, highlight areas.

Or using a brush, add inks.

Using a paper towel mask to protect the painting
mist alcohol in a small area.

This will create a textured look.

Using a white pen, add details

TADA!!!!

Idea 4.....

I love using dirty stencils. Waste not! Rather than clean alcohol inks from stencils, try this. Spray stencil with alcohol. Here is the Birch and Oak Leaf Stencil.

Immediately place onto Yupo paper.

Let it dry and remove.

COOL!!!

Idea 5....

Another inky stencil. This one is Connection Full.

Now that the stencil is mostly clean, place onto Yupo.

Using an old credit card, scrape gel medium through the stencil

Remove stencil. OK I said mostly clean

Allow gel to dry

Using paper towel moistened with alcohol and inks, rub inks over the Yupo.

Add additional colors.

Using a oiler boiler or eye dropper, add alcohol to blend.

For a little bling, ass Pinata Gold.

Use a cotton swab to blend.

I cut out the design and  made a cool greeting card.

  9. I have tried using alcohol inks recently, and I love your suggestions. Your stencils are very nice too. I don't have Yupo paper, so I'm using my inks on small canvases and foil-covered atcs.
