Stencil FUNdamentals shows you fun ways to get started with stencils.
You can also watch on YouTube at spray ink Stencil FUNdamentals.
I'm playing with Terri Stegmiller's Garden Swirl stencil in a spiral bound journal. I used Dylusions spray inks here but stencils work with any spray ink.
When I spray from about 12" away the color is lighter and lines are very crisp. Love the big splots of ink from my bottle.
When I spray up close the ink puddles more and randomly runs under the stencil in places. This gives it such a different feeling than the one above.
You can use more than 1 color at a time with a stencil too! Here I used 3.
You can get so many different looks from one stencil with spray inks!
Now it's your turn to play! Grab a stencil and some spray inks and have fun!
I'm putting together the next Stenciling FUNdamental and there are so many possibilites. Let me know in the comments what FUNdamantal supply would you like me to use in the next videos!
