Winners and My New Bag

Hi Everyone, it's Maria!

Stopping in to announce a few lucky winners and to show you something fun project I made.

Let's start with my project :)
Need a new bag? I have a little bit of a bag addiction--I love them ALL KINDS!

I took a raw canvas bag from Donna Downey. I love this bag and have had it stashed away for the PERFECT project!

I used masking tape to frame the area I wanted to paint in.
Using fabric paint, I painted the inside of the square.

After the paint was dry, I took off the tape and used a pencil to trace the Face Map StencilGirl stencil (which I am a HUGE fan of) designed by Pam Carriker onto the bag twice.

My next step with to embroider over the lines with a simple backstitch.

After that was done, I did some beading along the edges with some seed beads.
I used a white Stabio water soluble pencil and wrote using my own handwriting the words and embroidered over them.
Now I have a fun unique bag to carry in my travels!

Okay....here is the part you have been waiting for!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to leave your comments on our posts and hop along in the Blog Hop last week!
