An Abstract in Ripples

Hi! Kirsten Reed here to show you how I used StencilGirlProducts Ripples stencil  designed by Michelle Ward to make a colorful abstract!

First I started with a 10x10 canvas and painted it yellow.  I began layering the stencil and sprayed Color Shine shimmer spray in green in various areas.  After it dried, I outlined the areas I wanted to pull out with my stabilo pencil.

I then layered on various collage tissues from my stash.

I added some stamps, various paints, drips and flicks of paint and just played until I loved what was on the canvas.

Here are some close ups:

Final canvas...what do you think?

I really find this stencil so versatile and know I will be using it many future art pieces! Can't wait to see how you use it too!

Thanks for letting me be part of your day and your art journey!
