English Springer Spaniels at play in Marleen's scrapbook

Myro, Mac and Lica (in dog heaven) cavorted in the river and here they are in the pages of Marleen's scrapbook.

Kristie's "Summer Blooms"

Two sunny flowers may first capture your eye, however there are many richly hued elements in Kristie Taylor's painting.

If you mosey over to The Scrapinator, Kristie's blog, she'll let you in on some techniques.

Carol is headed to concerts in the park

The idea to stencil this ice chest sprang from a post Carol Baxter saw a while back wherein the delightful Crafty Chica added painted stickers to an ice chest.

She writes: "I am thrilled with how my ice chest turned out!"

After stenciling, she embellished the flowers with different colored Sharpie pens.

Carol's fave side:

To gesso or not to gesso, that is the question.
The answer: Optional.

Tip: Do spray sealant or coat with matte medium to make the design adhere longer and stand up to being carted around.

The ice chest project took a couple "enjoyable hours" and the slightly nubby sides did not prove to be an impediment.

Janet's "All You Need is Love" pillow

A sweetly embroidered pillow reminds us that LOVE is a beautiful thing!

Vines, 9'x12" L066 designed by Jane La Fazio

Janet Joehlin shares how she made the pillow on her Happy Reminders blog

Anna's Gelli prints in her personal journal

Anna Friesen "loves the ogee pattern" in these stencils and made a bunch of Gelli papers to use in upcoming projects.

Strands DNA, 9"x12" L055 designed by Mary Beth Shaw

Strands DNA #3, 9"x12" L072 designed by Mary Beth Shaw
Anna writes: "I loved the one print so much, I decided that it alone could do the talking for the left side of my art journal spread. For the right side, I masked off the one open shape, and stenciled, creating those purple flower petals. So fun!"

Wow! Thanks for scrolling all the way down this post.

Hasn't it been fun to experience all the ways our Creative Team interprets the world into personal art?
