The Plain Box Society

Hello and Happy Monday!

Tina Walker here today with my inaugural StencilGirl® Columnist post.  ♥

Today, we are talking all about collaborations.  Before my official post as a StencilGirl® Columnist writer, I was a lover of collaborations.  For several years, I've hosted many collaborations, ranging from altered challenges, journal sharing, and themed ideas.  It makes my heart happy to be able to share my love for creating with friends (real and digital) from around the world.  Art and creativity are key to a happy life and they are something I embrace each and every day.

I am constantly amazed how when given the same idea, tools, or base materials, the end results are as varied as people are.  That's what makes collaborations especially fun.

Many of my collaboration ideas are projects that I myself, would enjoy making.  This collaboration is no exception.  Well enough of my chatting, let's get right to the good stuff.  :)

We all started with 1 simple item -  a.PLAIN.CARDBOARD.BOX.

Sounds simple?  Guess again!  You will be amazed by how varied, creative, and awe inspiring these 'PLAIN BOXES' transformed.

Grab your favorite beverage and a bowl of your favorite snacks and sit back and enjoy each and every project.  Please take a few minutes to visit each participants blog for more behind the scenes details and project close-ups.  They will appreciate your love! ♥

WOW, WOW, and triple WOW!  I am so impressed with the creativity, use of color, and of course, how each person used StencilGirl® stencils to complete their plain boxes.  I have several boxes left from the challenge....I think I need to create something with them.  What do you think?  What would you like to see?  I'll take your suggestions and create something new.  ♥

Before I depart, I would just like to say a special Thank You to Mary Beth Shaw for believing in my abilities and for embracing me into the StencilGirl® family.  My new position of Collaboration Columnist is such a wonderful and growing experience.  Biggest hugs!

Good Bye until my next post!  Have a fantabulous day!

Tina
