Lose Your Mind with StencilGirl® Stencils

Hi, Everyone! Michele Kosciolek here! I am quite honored to have been invited to be a guest over at StencilGirl® Talk, thank you so much!

In the past year or so my StencilGirl® collection has grown by leaps and bounds and I definitely have my favorites, four of which you will see in today’s project.

Today I am sharing a journal spread, the very first in a new handmade journal I am putting together.  This journal will be all two page spreads.
I started with a piece of watercolor paper and covered it with white gesso.  I did some random painting with Dina Wakley paints, turquoise, olive and elephant and with the Circles, Circles stencil and a baby wipes I removed some of the paint. This created my background.

I added some piece of old dictionary page and stenciled Face It Small in black paint. Using more DWM paint; blushing, buff, ruby, cheddar, sky and my favorite paint brush…my finger, I painted in the face.
With Vintage Typewriter Numbers and Vintage Typewriter Alphabet I stenciled, in black, random letters and numbers exploding out of the top of the face.  These are then outlined with Posca Paint Pens.
I hand lettered the quote with my Posca Paint Pens.
So there you have it, the finished pages. Thanks for visiting!!

Visit Michele Kosciolek at www.stuffbybelle.com in the near future to see more pages in this journal as they come to life.
