Train Station and Gaol Doorways are by StencilGirl's new designer, mixed-media artist Tina Walker.
Tina Walker's stencils were inspired by a recent trip to Ireland.
"I love old architecture; windows, doors, stone, etc. and many of the pictures I took during my trip reflected this love," Tina says.
Tina works in many mediums paint, sprays, paste, and ink and she envisions all kinds of art to make with these stencils.
The Train Station Stencil was inspired by the Galway Train Station. Tina saw it when she was leaving Galway, Ireland, headed to Dublin and loved the arched design and imagery of travel, exploration, and experiencing the world.
The Gaol Doorways Stencil was inspired by a visit to the Kilmainham Gaol, a former 19th Century prison in Dublin, Ireland. Tina says, "The stories of the men, women, and children that were detained in the prison, was a fascinating look at a horrific period of time. The many doors represented in the stencil can reflect pathways to the past, present, and future."
