These stencils reflect what is going on in society and some
phrases Mary Beth been using in her artwork for many years that she wanted to memorialize.
FRIEND SHIP is broken into two words because Mary
Beth envisions a big ship with all of her friends on it.
ACT LOUDER To Mary Beth, actions speak louder than words so,
act louder.
EAT CAKE probably brings a smile to your
face. Mary Beth has put this phrase on many art pieces throughout the years. We
work hard and do so much, it’s time to rest for a minute and enjoy the cake.
WAKE UP is not really a stencil for early birds, although it
could be. For Mary Beth, wake up means pay attention to what is going on.
BE CARE FULL The phrase was suggested to Mary Beth by
another artist, Mystele Kirkeeng, and the meaning, “be full of care” struck home.

loop them on a ring.)
