This month's StencilClub stencil set was so fun to work with because of their versatility! Mid Century Modern Garden by Valerie Sjodin has both stencils and masks so you can create interesting layers and a variety of effects.
The bold shapes and patterns make it easy to "grow" a lovely whimsical garden, just as the name of the stencil suggests. When I was playing with them my creative eye saw the possibility of making little figures from the shapes and the result is a mixed media collage featuring a sweet trio nestled together.
I am so pleased with the result and I hope you find the video below helpful in sparking your own ideas when using this joyful stencil set.
Join StencilClub by February 15 to receive these three exclusive stencils and accompanying video tutorial with PDF (both downloadable!), and 20% OFF STENCILS EVERY DAY!!
