Kirsten Varga - June 2022 StencilClub Stencils

The Grecian Waters stencil set is a wonderful selection of organic shapes that are a blast to layer!

So I gathered some papers, paints, and my handy-dandy bone folder and got to work on a sweet accordion mini-book.

This eight-panel accordion is nestled in a hardcover that looks like a traditional book but when you open it the accordion is revealed.

Check out the video below for a peek into my process. :)

  4. Was that cold press watercolor paper? 140#? I tend to have issues folding even with a bone folder.

    1. It is. It is from a 12”x18” Canson pad. Scoring the paper before folding helps. Also, If the grain of the paper runs the same direction as the folds the paper will fold easier too. Hope that helps!
