Hello! Laura Dame here.
Can you believe we're already halfway through January?? Time has been flying.
We may be through the holidays, but winter is still in full swing. During this time of year, I tend to gravitate towards cooler, more muted colors, which I tend to blame on the season. It's so interesting how much outside forces can affect your mood and your art.
For this spread, I used a ton of different layers and techniques.
I started with paint, and wiped some of it away through a stencil. Then I added more stenciling layers, some acrylic ink, collage papers, and more stenciling.
This spread took me on a bit of a journey, but I'm happy with where it ultimately ended up. It gives me all the wintery, January vibes, don't you think?
Check out the video below to watch it all come together! I hope you enjoy!
