Hi, everyone! Mary Nasser here today to show you what I did with the
EXCLUSIVE September 2014 StencilClub stencils designed by Andrew Borloz!
These stencils are brilliantly designed to be used in a variety of combinations for tons of patterning possibilities!
It's like getting dozens of stencils in this set!
I wanted to incorporate circular and oval shapes of maps, so I went with creating this wave pattern in my art journal.
This pattern also reminds me of aerial views of rivers.
It was easy and fun to create these retro waves because Andrew's written clear and thorough instructions (with LOTS of photos)
for using these stencils in all sorts of combinations.
I grabbed some of my favorite go-to acrylic colors and pounced away with my Sofft Art Sponges:
I had fun adding stickers and stamps of maps and text and time zones in the nooks and crannies of the waves:
