Dual Book Covers Featuring Traci Bautista

Hi Friends, Janet here from Happy Reminders....

I have a confession to make.
I am not perfect.
I do dumb things, make mistakes, have a lot of ooops....

For instance,
I have this simple Moleskine Sketch Book
and I started using it at both ends.
Upside down...right side up...I couldn't decide and it was driving me crazy.
But I already have pages done in it...on both sides....geeeeesh.....
I thought about tearing one side of it out...
I was making it really difficult for myself....
I was overthinking this whole thing.

I finally figured it out! Simple!

I had two of Traci Bautista's beautiful Stencils so why not use them both...
On each side...Opposite Directions....Totally Bizarre...but why not!

The Love Collage Stencil and the Tropical Floral Stencil

I started out with gesso directly on to the Moleskine cover.

I used all kinds of paint pens and markers to get the look I envisioned.
Layers and layers and layers!

I finished the Love Collage side first.
Time to flip it over and do the other side.....

It's almost like it has a dual personality!

So does this make me a little OCD? Probably!
But that's okay!
I can attack this art journal in either direction now and it doesn't bother me a bit!

Come visit me at Happy Reminders!

Happy Arting!
