Seaside Lavendar Mini, Aug 2015 StencilClub
 Pickleweed Mini

 Hi Stencil Friends.
I am still loving those little field note journals.
I have several going at once with different purposes.
Here are a few spreads for my
 Get Messy Season of Celebration.

This little Bee is from the May 2014 StencilClub kit.

Here is a background I started with lots of layers
including the ghost of the Curlicue Floral stencil.

Here, Journal Texture 1 is hiding in the layers.

Another use for these little field note books is for making lists.
I participated in #30daysoflists.

Something I have learned about the field note journals
is they MAY fall apart if the book gets too full of goodness.
So I have started to reinforce the spines
with waxed thread. So far it has helped!

I decided to make this little journal with
mostly collage papers and ephemera from my collection.

Vintage book papers, stickers, tags, magazine pages....

Included in my 'collection' of papers is
deli papers, music and book pages full of stencils.
They started from the ghost images of leftover paints on stencils.
I hate wasting paint or ink leftover on my daubers.
And I hate cleaning stencils.
So this is what I do....

Thanks for visiting and we will see you next time.
Happy stenciling!
