Janet here with what I've been working on recently.
There are lots of classes and journals being worked on at once.
Wanderlust
Here I used the Stitch ATC Kristin Williams Stencil on this week #10 lesson.
On week #11 I used the ATC Mixup Borloz Stencil.
My 2020 Book
I made a galaxy in this butterfly shape using March 2020 StencilClub Stencils.
GetMessy Season of Truth
because sometimes you just need to make marks.
because sometimes you need to color a hummingbird.
A Special Mail Art Project...
You know I adore my GetMessy Art Community and
our Fairy Artmother, Caylee Grey, who guides us in that journey.
I offered to make some welcome post cards to mail to new members who join.
I wanted them to reflect me and my art as well as make them
simple enough to make a stack of them.
Quality AND Quantity!
I took two of my previous fairy creatures and color copied them
in sizes to fit post card dimensions.
Then it was mark making and color smooshing
and stencils and collage....
using inks and paints and markers and pens.
The ink from the Mermaid Markers in the hellos ran a bit
when I gave them a final coat of sealer on them.
That was after I spray fixed them.
Note to self: spray them a full 3 times before sealing next time.
It was really fun to do.
They are the same but different.
It was an exercise in Kicking Perfection to the curb!

and the little king of the fairies wings are from Boho Pattern Stencil.
And in my planner....
along with collage and a travel sticker.
The Snowflake Mask #2 was fitting for this snowy week...
along with collage and packaging and a friend's beautiful sticker.

My 4 year old granddaughter was with me all week.
She helped me color this and gave me
lots of good advice on what to add to this week's page.
She made me that adorable rainbow on the top left...
because I needed it right there. Adorable.
