Hi! It's Wendy Baysa sharing with you today.
I wanted a small travel-sized activity journal for an upcoming vacation with my husband's side of the family. Eileen Hull's Notebook die was a perfect pairing with the Soulful Scribbles Stencil by Traci Bautista
I added a variety of pages using paper of different weights so I can watercolor, sketch, or journal on the numerous substrates.
Added a few pretty pages, too, for inspiration while away. The above page is done with watercolors and the ATC Botanical #2 by Rae Missigman
A little collage on a page using some vintage papers and stickers. I also decided to add in linen pages so I can practice some stitchery stitches if I need some quiet time.
I loved this bag that I had received from a friend of mine's store and saved it. Works wonderfully for a pocket page to have some papers ready to collage.
To finish it off I added some trinkets to decorate the spin up.
As always, thank you for viewing and I hope I have inspired you to also make a travel-sized journal to play in when you are vacationing.
Wendy
Beautiful Wendy! Love your reminder of how we can change up the pages when we make our own journals- it looks so cool bound together. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Susan, I am definitely one that doesn't do well with repetition so it should keep me pretty busy while away, lol.
DeleteWhat a great vacation journal. Can't wait to see it finished with all of your findings.!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, hopefully I will remember to do a post about it :)

ReplyDeleteWendy--love this little travel booklet! What kind of material did you use for the cover? Can you show us a little more of it, and where will that be? Thanks!
