In this video, I use my Floral Heart stencil to make a flower-petal-edged mandala. You will need a piece of paper at least 22 inches square to accommodate the whole circle shape. I used Rives BFK 22 x 30 white paper. You could also do this technique on fabric with fabric paints, maybe for the middle of a tablecloth.
You will need:
Floral Heart stencil
pushpin
foam core
ruler
compass
paint (I used Kuretake watercolor pans, but you could use
gouache, watercolors of any sort or acrylic paint)
paper (at least 22 inches square)
brush
water
Optional:
Ideco foil glue and silver foil
