ReplyDeleteI love these blocks!
ReplyDeleteAren't these blocks cute!
ReplyDeleteI love ATB s and would create one in memory of my father in law, a great giveaway
ReplyDeletewhat a nice idea Dawn- a tribute to someone you have lost. Thanks for your comment...
DeleteSo many ideas for using the Sizzix and making ATBs. I would love to play first and then use stencils and stamps and paint perhaps on fabric and fuse on some interfacing to stiffen a bit. A book or a cube would be fun to create.
ReplyDeletepainting on fabric- cool!
Deletewhat fun! I have been making and trading ATC's off and on since 1999! can you believe it? and now to have ATB's!!! one of my go to techniques is resist so I think that would be my first one to create. again all I can say is what fun!

Well, I can see that these offer oodles of possibilities. I do like boxes!
ReplyDeleteMaria! another great hop and such a cool idea with the blocks! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI immediately thought of storytelling blocks as I volunteer in an elementary school as an artist/storyteller. A fantastic creative tool!
ReplyDeletewow- love it... a storytelling cube!
Deleteamazing! wow--
ReplyDeleteI'm a texture junkie - so my stencils would definitely be used with some paste and some gesso to create some really tactile touchable boxes - then there's space on another side for words, and another for images - what a fantastic way to be able to tell lots of stories on one piece! Thanks for the chance to win.

ReplyDeleteDelighted to be participating in this hop!
ReplyDeleteArtist Trading Blocks rock!! So fun!
Wow! I love the new Artist Trading Block Die. I was a huge fan of the 1 inch wide wooden Artist Trading Block trend a few years ago due to the dimensionality & home decor opportunities they offered. These square blocks are even better! 6 large sides to work on verses 2 & the opportunity to turn them into functional storage. Of course as a texture junky I will have to team them up with my fabulous Stencil Girl stencils ;-) Thanks for the chance to win. Theresa x
ReplyDeleteI have been around all the blogs & would love to create my own ATC doll, faux TV set & ARTopoly blocks. I would also love to make storage boxes & to use them as 3D canvases.
DeleteI've been through all the artists on the blog. Everyone is an inspiration. I'm thinking maybe four seasons blocks. This is so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI've never used either, but if I won them what a great way to start. Everything looks great.
ReplyDeleteI think I would use the cube to include my favorite poem and a mantra or two as a visual reminder - this would be new! I do use stencils a lot - they are so fun!
ReplyDeleteI love using the Stencil Girls stencils for surface design on fabric. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteWOW, how amazing and inspirational are these blocks that everyone made!!!! This was a fun hop!!! You guys "rock", I would love to win and I would use them for my grandchildren and for each special occasion in their life, gift one to them to keep as a keepsake...
ReplyDeletesounds awesome, thank you for the chance to win! love your page..
ReplyDeleteWonderful new die! I cannot wait to see all the new blocks!
ReplyDeleteEveryone's work is so inspiring! I love to alter things...I've yet to try any Stencil girl stencils but they look awesome! I'm thinking I could make some kind of game for my daughters where they could roll the box like dice and then do what it said. Maybe I could make two and have a funny/serious mash up for the game, ie: sing the national anthem could be on one, then balance on one foot on the other block...just for fun!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to create an ATB tribute to bicycling - one of my favorite activities.
ReplyDeleteI would use them to create a block about my grandchildren! They are such a big piece of my life and I would love to have this to create something to keep them with me in my craft room for always! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI would use the blocks and stencils to create Christmas decorations...stacked near the fireplace, hiding small surprises inside! Thanks for the chance to win these great products!
ReplyDeleteFabulous new die! would love to use it to make some cool arty decorations :)
ReplyDeleteI've just seen the block on Friends In Art blog (yes I started at the wrong place!) but I think their block looks great - I'd like to try something like that! Stencils are something I'm only just getting into so I'd practice loads of techniques - stamping through, embossing and texture plates just to start ..... :)
ReplyDeletehttp://steamfairiecraft.blogspot.co.uk/
I think I would like to try some Liquid Applique through the stencils for some thick texture. Then I would move on to some metal and I would just keep going till I exhausted myself.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I'd use the stencils and art block to do some 3-D art journaling.
ReplyDeleteI make greeting cards so I would use them for the cards. I'd like to get more into mixed media and these would probably give me a push to get going. thanks.
ReplyDeleteTo create a dimensional scrapbook. I have some I use on my mantle at Christmas right now with pictures and memories on every side!
ReplyDeleteOh my, the possibilities........
ReplyDeleteWow! I would use Eileen's ATB die & the Stencil Girl stencils to create a Christmas Photo Cube of me & my daughter (It is only the two of us this year). This will be a fun Christmas Tradition for us to start together :-) Barbara x
ReplyDeleteLove these blocks and all the possibilities for use! Love what I've seen so far on the Hop.
ReplyDeleteI volunteer with adults with disabilities and would take it to our gallery so we could all make them. The stencils would be used on our blocks and in our journals. Thank you

ReplyDeletegreat hop. Love all the variety.
ReplyDeleteThese blocks are cool! Everyone's designs are so unique and gorgeous! Hmmm... wonder if they can be used as boxes too? I'd have fun making up a bunch of blocks with stencils/inks/paints to decorate the top of my storage cabinets in my craft studio! Fun!
ReplyDeleteThe stencils are just awesome and the blocks look really fun. I have a lot of "small stuff" and the boxes seem like a perfect solution. Maybe glue the sides of boxes together and make a little storage? Use boxes in different sizes together with the movers and shapers window die and make a building block castle? That would be amazingly fun to do..
ReplyDeleteThese are so Fun......Love the possibilities!
ReplyDeleteThese are so Fun......Love the possibilities!
ReplyDeleteThe first thing that comes to mind would be to put smaller cards inside: the cards could have quotes, words of inspiration, prompts or techniques on them. Or perhaps little totems or sacred items. Or use like trading cards. Ooh the possibilities!
ReplyDeleteFor sure I would use the stencils on an art journal I'm trying to start. I only have one, so far (groan). I think I would do a mixed media collage then create a lopsided tower with the blocks. That would be so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI think i would be completely overwhelmed but would start by gelliprinting the matboard to get rid of my stencil paralysis. Then g
ReplyDeleteI would Gelli print all over the box parts with the stencils!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beyond amazing...I cant wait to get some ATB's...I have an order of new stencils en route and can't wait to get them...I am so inspired by everything in this hop...thank you so much for doing this...I use stencils on every possible thing I can find, I could never have enough LOL...
ReplyDeleteI would love to make some ATCs
ReplyDeleteand use this.
Carla from Utah
WoW! I would make surcie boxes!
ReplyDeleteI would love to make some of these new ATBs to swap with some of my friends in my painting group and I would use the new stencils to create some interesting designs.
ReplyDeleteOOOH, I would love this!!
ReplyDeletePlease, pretty please! I'm hooked on ATBs and this would be so much easier than sanding down 2 x 4 pieces.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win this new die - I have a dear friend and mentor who recently passed away - I'd make memorial ATB's to keep little mementos in for myself and his family. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI love making gifts for my friends... they will love the boxes that the square box die will create. Would love to win! Thank you for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great way to trade art! I love the 3D aspect as well as the nesting of the blocks inside each other and then the stacking up to make a beautiful art piece. This is a very fun blog hop indeed. Thanks for hosting it and I look forward to making some blocks.
ReplyDeleteReally awesome give away, I've never seen artist trading blocks before. I loove the idea. Pairing stencils with the block is great!
ReplyDeleteI would use the Sizzix to cut out lots of shapes in different fabrics/materials and using staamps and stencils with paints and pens to make as many objects as possible from them.
ReplyDeleteI would like to make a very colorful set of blocks from heavy chipboard that could double as casual, moveable decor accents and amusement for small children when they visit. If they get messed up I can just make some more.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't had a chance to hop, but I just got in at the nick of time. I really got inspired looking at all the creations and would love to win the Inspiration Deck - maybe it will get me going with my own projects! Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeletealways great giveaways from you all. i would sure have lots of fun making things for my grandkids. i would love a sissix and the blocks look like so much fun. i for sure would love mary beths book, i have seen it and it looks fabulous. cant wait to see what everyone did with the products, you always pick the best people for inspiration. xoxo
ReplyDeletegreat possibilities for a great giveaway. Paints, stencils, gelli plate...i could have so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of telling a story - maybe a mystery/puzzle with the solution on the inside??
ReplyDeleteSo many great ways to use these products, some gift boxes for sure, but also great for making games/activities for kids.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!!! I love hops and this one proves to be a great one:)
