ReplyDeleteso many great ideas - love these blog hops! I would like to see a source list for all the difference products used in the blog hops - sometimes there are products I can't find in my little corner of the world... but I'm sure if I just knew where to look...
ReplyDeletealso, it would be nice to see more fabric art - such as quilting or garments. I'm thinking of 'freshening' my wardrobe with my stencils - not just my apron, either!

ReplyDeleteStencil Girl Talk is one of my fave blogs. I really couldn't ask for more, except I did read Carol's comment above and maybe it would be inspiring to see some stencil magic on fabric. Thanks for the opportunity to win some of Kae's stencils. They are great!
ReplyDeleteLove these stencils...they look like they are so versatile. Am doing a 'Stencil Play' workshop with Carolyn Dube at present so I could sure use these.

Just finished the hop and it was amazing. I love the way so many different techniques can be used to make a cohesive picture. I have to try this - I keep saying I'm going to do it and then get bogged down with my greeting cards and I don't get to it. I made a New Year's resolution to try new techniques - so I need to settle down and try this one. Hopefully I'll win the prize and that will give me added incentive to start. Thanks for having the hop.
ReplyDeleteHello all Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteKae's stencils are awesome and I am very excited about seeing them used with the stamps! I would always love more tutorials and videos, but I also liked the ideas above for source lists and more uses with modeling paste.
I really like the peacock stencil shown above, as well as all the organic yet geometric shapes on the stencil. What I personally would love to see, is a demonstration of someone using these stencils/stamps in a nontraditional manner. Like in ceramics. I for one would LOVE to write that review/tutorial for you. =) glad I found this blog hop through Mary C. Nasser's blog!

You know, there are so many talented artists that I've visited today in this hop, that I would be honored to see a tutorial or blog on their styles/methods. I have learned so much today..in fact the learning curve is quite steep. I am writing down methods that have been used as well as material such as the stamps and stencils. I think I see my charge card trying to creep away...but have no fear! I'll be ordering soon!
ReplyDeletejust starting the blog. would love to see more blog hops and tutorials.
ReplyDeleteI love stencils and these are super. I'd love to see technique tutorials that show step by step instructions, like the cool treasure box.
ReplyDeleteLove any tutorials. Would like to see modeling paste or other types of materials used. How about some new stamping techniques or tips on getting better results? Thank you for great stencils.
ReplyDeleteI'm relatively new to following this blog so my suggestions may already be in place. How about some interviews with some of your artists? Or some video interviews or video tutorials? Really, though, this is such a great site. Thanks for all the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteGood morning girls ;.) Loving your site and already a huge fan of your stencils! It was LOVE at first sight when I attended a couple of classes at a mixed media store in Oklahoma called My Heart's Fancy. Maura has THE MOST AMAZING stencil wall. It was like rays of light shining down from the Heavens when I walked in! What would I like to see....hummmm....more stenciling on canvas, even canvas board, utilizing the stencils with drawings of faces....ummmm ummm, I love drawing faces! Finished projects would be great for framing.
ReplyDeleteI would like to learn about spray bottles! Yes, thats right. I need some information on spray bottles and spraying techniques etc. Love the new stencils! Thanks
ReplyDeleteWould love to see more bird image stencils.....esp in natural settings (i.e. birdnests, mama and nestlings, birds flying, birds perched, birds swimming, etc)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hop and the chance to win! I am a brand-new follower on Google + . YIppee!!!

ReplyDeleteI think it would be cool to see how everyone stores their stencil hoard and rubber stamp hoard! I need some new ideas for this! hahaha! KP's stuff is over-the-Rubbermoon-AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite stencils are those that allow me to work somewhat unstructured. Anything that has to be lined up just so is beyond my capabilities and my patience.
ReplyDeleteMary Beth - Introduce us to new and unique uses for old favorite Golden products.
ReplyDeleteI love your stencils...you have so much contributing talent! It would be great to see more mixed media tutorials. It would be so helpful to see new ways to use the usual products. Source lists would be helpful too. Thanks for asking for your readerships ideas. You have a great product line!
ReplyDeleteWow, a few basics for beginners perhaps would be helpful.
ReplyDeleteI love vintage designs, so tutorials for vintage style cards and journal pages would be great!

ReplyDeleteI'd love to see layered canvas are using paper, stencils and different mediums. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt would be fun to have a "Guess Which Stencil" contest where you reveal a small portion of a stenciled project and readers have to figure out which stencil was used. Similar to Janet's post of January 2 where she used parts of Maria's butterfly stencil. Might be a good way to get more people to the website and see stencils they may not have seen before. Would probably have to limit the number of choices as the Stencil Girl inventory has become soooooo extensive.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Cindy!
