Scribble Scratch Handwriting Notes!

**If you are looking for the Blog Hop featuring Orly Avineri, please keep scrolling down the page...after you read Mary's post of course :)**

Hi! Mary Nasser here to show you what I did with Carolyn Dube's Scribble Scratch Handwriting Stencil!

When I first saw this stencil, I knew I wanted to make hand-painted notecards with it!
To start, I made lots of monoprints with my 8" x 10" Gelli Printing Plate and bright acrylic paint on 8.5" x 11" cardstock!
So fun to make!
Here are just a few:

Next, using my Fiskars paper trimmer, I cut each monoprint into two 4.5" x 6.5" pieces
and rounded the corners of these with my squeeze punch.

Lastly, I used 3/8" Xyron Adhesive Dots (one in each corner on the back)
to attach the prints to cardstock cut 7" x 10" and folded in half to create 5" x 7" cards:

Before I knew it, I had made 30 cards!
These will be as fun to mail as they were to make!

Below are some details:

Happy Stenciling!
