Hello Stencil Lovers!
It's almost time for StencilClub stencils to be sent out!
Are you a member yet?
I thought I would do an art journal page in the back of my DLP planner this time.
The moleskine pages are thin so I began with a base of gesso and some washi tape.
Those stripes remind me of flower stems....and these colors resonate HAPPY to me.
Well, now I know what direction this page will take me!
What a great background these stencils make!
Who remembers S&H Green Stamps?
Somehow I felt they belonged there with the flowers!
This little girl reminds me of me.... I had the very same haircut when I was little.
She is the Be Happy Cling Stamp from PaperBag Studios.
I did some writing in white on the background.
There you go.
I can't wait to see what you make with these StencilClub stencils!
Till next time!
Love what you've created esp the flowers? I hadn't thought of them as that but now I just want to plant a garden with them. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI love this! The stencils add such a subtle touch to the background, but it really makes a difference! Very happy and beautiful pages! I love the idea for the flowers too... I'll be trying that as well :)
ReplyDeleteOMG! S&H Green Stamps! Does that ever bring me back. Sitting around the kitchen table with Mama, gluing the stamps in the books. Then looking through the catalog to see what we would redeem them for. Thanks SO much for bring back that lovely memory.
ReplyDeleteI love your pages. The flowers are adorable. I love the sentiment...Choose Happy! It's a choice...every day. Thanks for the wonderful, colorful reminder.
I love your pages Janet, and the color just sings to me!!!!
