Hey Everybody!
I am SUPER thrilled & humbled
to be guest designing for StencilGirl Products.
Today, I am sharing my mixed
media process for my Week #12 weekly calendar layout for my Documented Life
Project 2016 "unPlanner". I will be incorporating three of my
favorite StencilGirl Products stencils in my layering
process:
Scribble Scratch Handwriting Stencil (by
Caroyln Dube)
Modern Buds (by Rae Missigman)
Deconstructed Floral Bouquet Stencil (by
Traci Bautista)
Alrightly, let's get started:
2. Sprayed Dylusions Ink Spray on Traci's Deconstructed Floral Bouquet stencil in a separate grid lined paper pad.
3. Placed my calendar pages on
top of the inky stencil to get a negative print.
4. Painted Carolyn's Scribble Scratch Handwriting stencil with black acrylic ink and
applied imperfect prints around the border of my calendar pages for texture
& interest.
5. Added acrylic paint to my
inking palette.
6. Blended the acrylic paint with
my brayer.
7. Took a paint print from my
inking palette.
8. Sprayed Carolyn's Scribble Scratch Handwriting stencil with black Dylusions ink
& added the negative to my background for a graffiti vibe.
9. Painted Rae's Buds stencil
with fluorescent pink paint. Printed it on ledger paper.
10. Created collage pieces from
Rae's Modern Buds & Traci's Deconstructed Flowers by fussy cutting the
stencil shapes with scissors. Glued the collage elements to my background with
Uhu glue.
11. Embellished my background
with my DIY collage bits, stickers, stamping & black stitching.
Here are all three StencilGirl
stencils "in action" in my final Documented Life Project 2016 Week
#12 "unPlanner" layout:
