Hi Stencil Lovers!
Janet here...showing you some recent pages in my Daily
as well as some October pages from previous years.
It's a beautiful October here in Ohio...
Leaves and crops are just beginning to turn colors.
It's a lovely overall pattern with lots of texture.
I made it into my background, emphasizing some of the veins and blending others.
You can see bits of the October 2016 StencilClub Stencils are used in a few of these spreads.
And Bloom True is peeking over the edge there.....
I was at a quilt retreat this week with my travel bag of markers and pens.
Before I left I tried to envision some Daily entries...
I really liked this Windswept Tree Stencil and thought it could be very fall-like...
I ended up using the branches to doodle inside
while the rest of the tree trunk and branches disappeared...
Still, it gives the impression that a tree is there!
Don't you love these little tubes of paint?
It's a little stamp from RubberMoon Art Stamps.
I couldn't resist making a border of paint tubes among that stenciled texture!
Yep! Living the Dream! LOL
And in my 2015 pages......
the Nov. 2015 StencilClub Stencils by Seth Apter.
Below I meshed Rose Window Stencil
and Stitch a Greek Border with some doodling...
From 2 years ago in my Daily....
makes for a nice backdrop with these fall pumpkins.
There you go for October.
See you next month!
Beautiful work Janet !!
