Wise Buds Mini Mixed Technique Art Journal by Karen Gaunt
Hello StencilGirl fans! Karen here with another project for you which funnily enough involves little or no stenciling!
So for our match up with Canvas Corp we got sent an amazing bunch of goodies. I instantly feel in love with the little naked journal they included for us. It got me thinking of making a little mini journal but using only one stencil throughout. I wanted to explore all the different ways I could manipulate and reproduce the stencil throughout my journal.
I ended up using Rae Missigman's Wise Buds stencil and there's not much I didn't do to this little stencil. I enlarged it every which way on the photocopies, carved my own stamps from it, made image transfers and even made a little shrink plastic charm with it.
I loved how to final journal turned out. I hope that it gives you some great ideas on how you can use your stencils in new and unusual ways and it gets you looking at your stash in a whole new way!
I hope that you enjoy my project video.
It's certainly jam packed with techniques! Thanks for watching!
