Made By Janet

Hi Stencil Friends!
to show you what's been on my art table recently.
Starting the new month of March in my Daily...
Along with Hash Marks and Harborside Mini
Lots of fun Mark Making in my Daily!

I stepped out of my comfort zone last month and joined Rae Missigman
in her newest Art Marks Challenge #februaryartmarkslove.
It was totally inspiring and challenging to work differently than I usually do.
I worked on these little artworks
more than my Daily and my LifeDocumented Planner!

I used shoreline mini on Leap, as well as
markers, pens, chalk paint, letter stamps and Starburst Shimmer Sprays

Think... had Bullseye and some long ago Stampin Up stamps.
As well as chalk paints and acrylic paint pens.

To me, the stencil Loose Half Rings looks like elbow macaroni.
It is one of my new favorite stencils!
More Starburst Shimmer Sparays along with gold acrylic paint
and other markers and pens and drips.

Here is the 4x4 sunburst stencil from the August 2017 StencilClub Kit.
Another of my Go To stencils.
More Starburst Shimmer Sprays, an orange glitter Sharpie Pen,
Distress Oxides, letter stamps, white pen and acrylic paints.

I 'created' the substrate for CREATE by stapling papers together.
My Curlicue Floral is the base layer.
Curlicue Wide Borders is also used.
Heavy on the Starburst Shimmer Sprays!

Another use of the Bullseye stencil and the Curlicue Wide Borders.

Connect used Clustered Triangles and stitching and paint pens and acrylics.

Do you 'notice' the Teardrop Doily Stencil
and the Curlicue Wide Borders peeking through the layers?

Poise has the Rows of Triangles stencil and lots of pink neon paint.

Learn is one of my favorites.
I love this X-12 Stencil with Light Molding Paste.
Lots of paint and lots of scribbles!

Again, the X-12 Stencil with a whole different look.
I think it is all Starburst Shimmer Sprays.

Here is Invent with the Bittersweet Mini as the focus.

On Build I used one of the designs from the ATC Mixup 1 Stencil,
the Sea of Grapes Mini Stencil, Starburst Sprays, acrylic paints and metallic gold paint.

On Replenish I rubbed off the Shoreline Mini Stencil design
instead of adding it on top.

Rest used Molding Paste and another section of the ATC Mixup 1 Stencil.
Lots of the Starburst Shimmer Spray and chalk paint and pens.

Last but not least, JOY.
I used the Gridded Stencil and Acrylic Paints and Chalk Paint.

What a FUN month!
I will be looking for the next Art Marks Challenge with Rae Missigman.

Also... last month I made the canvas paper art and this month
I covered Moleskine Notebooks with it.

They turned out great and I have already given some away!

See you in April for more Arty Fun!

  4. Hey! Canvas scraps can be sewn together! A patchwork of colors and designs would be awesome! I ran the canvas paper through my Xyron machine. I hope it works for you!
