We Carry You - by Natalie May for StencilGirl



Hey there Stencil Fan!
Natalie here today with something that is super special to me and a little on the creative side too.

This month, we have the theme of 'Carry It' and although the rest of the uber talented StencilGirl team have come up with incredibly impressive things to carry ... I wanted to create a Scrapbook page featuring my Grandmother who passed away a few years ago and how we Carry her memory in our hearts.


I am a big journaler ... I write notes and tell stories but not often do I put them on the front of my pages ... I scribble stories on the back of the pages so that the story isn't lost and the information is there for the next generation.


I created this Mixed Media Scrapbook Page to go into a frame to go on my studio wall.
It's surprisingly simple but with lots of layering elements.


I have used the following stencils to help with building those layers of color and texture ...
I have produced a little video with full instruction on how to create this scrapbook page.
