Art Journaling with StencilGirl® Products

IT’S SUCH AN HONOR TO BE HERE!!! Let me introduce myself. My name is Lynne Forsythe.
I live in a small town in Northern NH and have been creating most of my life!!

Secondly, I LOVE tell on myself. The art journal page I am sharing today was created for another reason. I was to be a part of the StencilGirl A to Z Collaboration and Challenge. But needless to say, after the sky fell in March, due to the pandemic, I wasn’t fairing too well! I had to cancel a large creative event I was hosting and it felt like my world was crumbling.
I want to share with you the words I wrote on the day I created this page…..

H is for HAPPINESS….
Have to say I haven’t seen much happiness of late. This whole COVID-19 business is starting to wear on me. Been under a stay at home order for way too long and we have 18 more days to go. I JUST WANT MY LIFE BACK!

In all of this uncertainty, I have lost FOCUS, WAFFLING around a sea of emotions. I am an event coordinator not an “essential worker.” I hold creative events with PEOPLE which right now is NOT ALLOWED!

Then, my thoughts wander, wondering if I will even be able to hold my October 2020 Creative Happening. All of these emotions and thoughts have brought me to a COMPLETE STANDSTILL unable to do ANYTHING!

So, I tried to press through, tried to get back on track. Beginning with the A to Z Collaboration and Challenge, which I am WAY behind on. I went searching for ANY inspiration through Poems, Quotes or anything…..I felt there would be nothing more fitting than this verbiage……

HAPPINESS held is the SEED
HAPPINESS shared is the FLOWER

I used the following stencils:

Watch how I created the paper that I used in my HAPPINESS is….Art Journal page.
THANK YOU for stopping by to check out my creation!
….until we meet again
