Kirsten Varga - April 2022 StencilClub Stencils

I was motivated to make a mini art journal with this month's StencilClub stencils. They are bold, graphic, and retro-inspired. They fill the pages of my journal and make the perfect backgrounds. Thank you Lizzie Mayne for such cool designs!

I chose a color scheme to match the energy of the patterns by using fluorescents with their complementary colors. It's a little out of my comfort zone but I am happy I went for it!

This sturdy book can be made in any size. So if a chunky book is what you want then this technique will work for you! 

I added the windows for visual interest but to also maximize the presence of the patterns. I love how they contrast against each other! Plus, when I start adding words, images, etc. to this book it'll be cool to peek at them through the windows.
