Pam Carriker GIVEAWAY!

Creating portraits can be quick, easy, and FUN!
Especially when you use Pam Carriker’s stencils!
We LOVE her step-out photos below sharing her process creating an art journal page!

Use PanPastel over stencil to transfer design.

Add white paint to pastel, mixing and blending on the page to create shadows and highlights.

Mix main color choice (I'm using Mustard Seed from my line of Fluid Matt Sheer acrylics) with black to create the 'shade' of your main color and add this to the shadowed areas of the face. Work quickly so the paint stays wet.

Extend the shade color of paint to the background.

Mix the main color of paint with white to create the 'tint' of that color and add some mid-tones to the face.

Continue adding white paint and blending the paint on the face.

Add some pops of the main color back into the face and background.

Use pencil(s) to draw into the wet paint adding details.

Finish off with some journaling.

Even if you’ve never drawn faces, have no fear!
Pam’s stencils allow you to draw faces from your imagination without a model or photo in front of you.

Are you ready to combine, layer, experiment and mix media to make unique portraits?
Then enter our GIVEAWAY for Mixed Media Portraits with Pam Carriker and FOUR of her Face Map stencils: one of which was exclusively created for Cloth Paper Scissors and is not available for purchase on our website!

To enter, just leave a comment below by 11:59pm CST on December 19th telling us why you’d like to win! Easy-Peasy!

Winner will be announced on StencilGirl Products Facebook page on Sunday, December 20th.

Good luck!!
