Boho Tags with Sherry Canino

Hi Friends,

So happy you are joining me this week for Team Tuesday here on the StencilGirl Blog.  This week I have a video tutorial for you on how I made these colorful Bohemian Style Tags.  So many people ask me .... What do I do with all these tags I create.  Oh my gosh the list is endless really, but here are a few ideas for you:
  • Give them as a gift
  • Use them for a bookmark
  • Attach to a gift in lieu of a card
  • Display them in your home
  • Hang them from a lamp shade
  • Clip a few together on a stick or ribbon for a beautiful strung banner
Well I think with the above list you get the idea that there are so many uses for beautiful handmade art tags.  So what are you waiting for?  Grab your stencils and your paint and let's get making some beautiful Boho Tags together.

Stencils used in today's tutorial are:

Elephant Parade by Nathalie Kalbach

Pilgrimage to India by Laurie Mika

Here are the finished tags and a few closeups.

Thanks so much for sharing your time with me today.  For more creative inspiration and tutorials  stop by my YouTube Channel and Blog.

Have an amazing day friends!!  xxoo Sherry

  4. Wow, these are so pretty and so very Bohemian! Think I will get out some of my lovely batik fabrics and tear some "ribbon," find some colorful paper scraps, and make a couple nice bookmark/tags for my daughter's new roommates. They are such sweet young ladies and something like these would be right up their alley. Thanks for the delightful tutorial and great suggestion for fun little gifts.
