How to use fiber paste with stencils

Hi everyone!! 

Jane Bellante here.  I'm so excited to be here today sharing a recent art journal page I created.  

I don't know about you, but I always have a word of the year. It really helps me to ground myself, and I set goals based upon this word.  Last year was a very transitional year for me.  My word was "rebirth". So this year, to build upon that, my word is 'bloom". Let's take what I did last year, nurture it, and grow it into something amazing.

I like to create some kind of visual reminder for myself, so this year I created a full page spread in one of my journals.  


I used 5 Stencil Girl Stencils for this project:

Recede

Little Eddy Rose

Abstract Rosette

Carnation

Emotions and Feelings Alphabet

I also used stencil fiber paste, a Dina Wakely decoupage tissue, some Paint Pixie Magical Chalk Paint, and some rub on transfers.

    This is so beautiful Jane! Love the stencils you have chosen and you make it look so easy 😉. I’m intimidated by stencils and have never tried them, so I am going to need you to recommend some for me 😊

    This is absolutely stunning! The composition, stencils, and textures all really speak to me, Jane! I definitely want to add these products to my mixed media arsenal.

    A true floral delight. The use of stencils and fiber paste really made this piece pop! Great color choices also.
