Guest Designer: Ivy Newport

Hello there! It’s IvyNewport here,and I’m so excited to share a special painting with you today
using three wonderful stencils from StencilGirl!
When I was asked to be a guest designer for StencilGirl, I was thrilled! Such a fabulous opportunity!
My imagination began to run wild the minute I began to peruse all the gorgeous stencils available.
After much thought, I selected three beautiful stencils - Marrakesh Mix, Hash Marks and Bloom True.
Visions of a lantern lit night began to swirl around my mind and I couldn’t wait to get started!

  1. What a great idea to use the Marrakesh stencil to create lanterns! I love how you pushed the top blooms into the shadows and highlighted the ones in the foreground, the glow on her face ... So much to admire here. You've created a beautiful piece!
