Hi everyone! I am so excited to be here on the StencilGirl® blog today
as a guest designer.
My
name is Niamh Baly and I am a Primary (elementary) school teacher from
Tasmania, Australia, a content creator and mum to two gorgeous girls. I am also
stencil addict! Stencils are such an amazing tool to help produce fabulous
artwork and are so simple to use. One of my favourite things about StencilGirl® stencils is
that there is such a huge choice of word stencils. I love adding text to my
artwork and in particular the wall of words stencil has some amazing phrases
that are perfect for most every project. Text helps to add a focal point to
your piece and can help you give meaning to your artwork.
In this project we will be breaking into a stash of gel printed papers using lots of wonderful stencils and creating a collaged art journal page. Below is a video taking you through the gel printing process (it is addictive too – so be warned) as well as how I constructed the final page. This is a huge art journal page (11 x 14in) created in the large Dina Wakley journal, but you can scale this project to any size you are comfortable with.

project to create all the gel printed papers
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog.
I hope
that this has inspired you to get into your gel printed papers and create
something beautiful.
Happy Creating,
Niamh
