Art Journaling with StencilGirl® Stencils by Nat Kalbach

Hi StencilGirl® friends, I am so stoked to be here today and I thought I’d share with you my process for an art journal page layering up some of my StencilGirl® stencil designs and using a variety of paint media.

When I designed my Art Deco and Art Nouveau inspired style stencils, I specifically thought about how you could fill in the open space with stamps and hand painted elements, but also how you could layer the same stencil again on top of the open space or some of the other stencils I created in a similar style.

Check out the video to see how my art journal spread came together:

Here is a detail shot of my Art Journal Spread:

Here are the products I used:
Acrylic Paints – I used Golden and Liquitex Acrylic Paints
Acrylic spray paints
Acrylic Markers
Oil Pastels

I hope this video inspired you to play with layering Stencils. It is a lot of fun. Share with me your work using my stencils and tag me on Instagram @natkalbach
Have a wonderful day and stencil on!
